Nike x (RED): “Tied Together is an epic journey in response to a global crisis. Follow our Teams in New York, London, Milan, Paris and Berlin as they run for 120 consecutive hours to fight this disease.”

Teams created their own Nike collaboration team uniform t-shirt design. These were displayed as part of a post-race exhibition as well as individual teams creative interpretations of (RED).

Work It Conga Line

“The Conga, a term widely believed to be derive from the African region of Congo, is both a lyrical and danceable genre, rooted in the music of carnival troupes or comparsas. The conga dance was originated by the slave people who were taken from Congo Africa as slaves in Cuba.”

Representing Nike x (RED) Team WORK IT is made up of our extended family, we will be tied together through the dance of conga until we reach the finish line. Together we celebrate our unity and strength as a team racing together to raise awareness for (RED) while embracing the spirit of collective power. As a tribe we move with the music to guide us. This image of repetitive movement, group spirit and dance inspired us to create a tribal print and mixtape.
